In praise of Vashti Bunyan's music

A Gem from the '60s - Still a Gem Today

As a young woman, Vashti Bunyan was a unique folk-pop talent in the late 1960s and early '70s. Haunting songs such as "Winter is Blue" brought her minor acclaim, but she left the music business for more than 30 years. Her triumphant return, with the albums Lookaftering [2005] and Heartleap [2014], was great news for her fans; the former helped inspire a 2008 documentary,Vashti Bunyan: From Here to Before.

I am setting up this site to share my views on Vashti's music, which I love and admire. I hope you try it and feel the same about it. More content will come soon!
